Looking forward to the conference
Hi all,

Thought I'd be the first to say I'm looking forward to the conference in September.

I attended last year as a prospect and am happy to say I'm attending this year as a customer and I'm looking forward to passing on details of some of the things we've been using our Netezza server for since then and the benefits we've realised from doing so.

I thought last years event was very informative and a great opportunity for me to understand what others were using the technology for, it was also a great opportunity to speak directly with Netezza senior representatives to understand the direction they were heading in.

Needless to say the food was great and I'm sure I had the odd beer or two as well :-)

Hopefully this year I'll get to meet a few people from this forum and put some faces to names etc.

Paul,
I am looking forward to the event more this year as well. Last year we were a Netezza customer with very limited experience. Now we are finishing up a major conversion effort and by the time of the conference I am sure I can share and get feedback on a variety of topics. I dont know where you went last year but the Italian restaurant our group visited was excellent, as was the Netezza Gaming night!

I'd like to say thanks to everyone at Netezza for such a great conference.

I'm glad I personally had the opportunity to contribute to the event, and hope that all those that attended my session found it informative and of benefit.

I think I've recovered now from the jet lag and general lack of sleep due to the occasional late night out :D
